Destination: THAILAND

First stop for the LOTUS travelers is THAILAND! Starting in May, we're going to be bopping around Thailand to conduct research on behalf of an undergraduate research grant from the University of Virginia. Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket - we're doing it all. We figured while we're in the area we might as well see Laos and Cambodia too.

First Thing's First

Welcome to LOTUS Travelogue. LOTUS Travelogue is a part of LOTUS Magazine - an enlightening magazine for women. This travelogue will chronicle the adventures of LOTUS creators Sara, Erin and Amber as we travel around the world. 

This travelogue will feature great travel writing, photography and art. It will also highlight the various social, political and economic issues women must grapple with in the regions we visit. We also hope to provide accounts of our encounters with inspirational individuals and NGOs contending with these issues.
